Nearing Reality...

This week has been a slow one with the team needing extra motivation to complete this great project. Like every other endeavour, staying motivated is essential to finish well.

Every team member on this project have decided to finish well what was started.

The Digital Marketing and Content Creation team set up their email and automated it on Mailchimp and sent emails to subscribers. They also continued to upload content using infographics and animation according to the content calendar and the social media strategy drawn up. The task of working on the end-to-end marketing plan for Uventory continued so as to launch the product full scale within the next 2 weeks. Work has also began on getting proposals out to potential investors (Angel and VCs).

The Graphic Design team continued to create infographics/flyers explaining misconceptions about the use of Inventory Management Systems according to content provided by the digital marketing team. They have also included video animation to their work.

The Product Design (UI/UX) team made the necessary adjustments on the duplicated Figma design and worked with the Developers to ensure 100% compliance with the design. They also continued work on the Uventory dashboard to get it ready for the developers to work on. The Product Management team began to create a launch plan/timeline for Uventory. The project is moving at a fast pace but the team has been able to get a full grasp of what is expected at each phase of the product development. There was continuous management and monitoring of the project task management dashboard where tasks were updated across all sub-teams for execution. The PM team lead took reports from the other PMs assigned to each sub-team so as to stay abreast of the project activities. The stand-ups continued thrice a week with members attending.

The Quality Assurance team did not really have much to test this week but they kept their focus on the test cases created according to the flow. They also looked at the end-to-end testing of the prototype created.

The Customer Relationship Management team implemented the email marketing system in collaboration with the digital marketing team on the HubSpot account created. There was a review of the customer journey, user experience and user flow in order to further understand each step and update the queries in the FAQ document.

The Frontend Development team which handles the tasks for the backend and mobile development teams have been having challenges handling the numerous tasks. Though they have completed 100% of the UI design implementation, they also ensured complete compliance to the design as set in Figma.

The Data Analytics team whose work on the reporting dashboard is ongoing as the team utilised data from Marketing Campaign Performance Analysis of competitive products in the Inventory Management industry with a focus on E-Commerce, Health and lifestyle products.

The experience the team has gained is unquantifiable as it goes beyond just executing the project to building lasting network.
